A little about me…
Hi! I’m Rebecca—a lifestyle photographer living by the sea with my little family, capturing honest, laid-back moments for families, couples, and anyone who treasures memory.
My work is rooted in sentimentality and softness, with a deep love for the in-between—the windblown glances, the quiet laughter, the way someone looks at you when you’re not paying attention. I especially love photographing people who don’t feel “camera ready”—who don’t know what to do with their hands, who apologise for being awkward—because that’s where the real magic lives.
Sessions with me are calm, relaxed, and gently guided. I’ll give you space to be yourselves and just enough direction to help you feel confident, not performative. The feedback I hear most is, “That was easier than I thought…and actually fun.”
Being by the water has always held something special for me. Childhood summers visiting Cornwall, marvelling at the endless sandy beaches and gigantic waves. It’s quietly woven itself into every chapter of my adult life too—my wedding, my maternity snapshots taken by my husband (see photo to the right!), even a milestone breastfeeding session have all been captured by the coast. It’s a special part of my story and brings so much inner peace and happiness.
Love, connection, joy—those are the things that matter most. Through the magic of photography, we get to press pause on the blur of everyday life and bottle up a piece of it—not just for ourselves, but for our children, our grandchildren, and all the versions of us still to come.
If you love the idea of photographs that feel like a warm evening breeze, hold a bit of sand between your toes, and tell your story just as it is—I’d love to work with you.
Little Things I Love
Favourite season and why?
Summer holds a special place in my heart, but Autumn is literally just the best thing ever. Seasonal coffees, stunning nature, cosy outfits. Not to mention, anything pumpkin related. I’m a big fan of the months ending in ‘ber’.
Go-to order at my favourite coffee shop?
If a coffee shop has a caramel latte, hot or iced, I’m good to go. I’m also a sucker for any kind of limited edition or seasonal drink. Love, love, love gingerbread or caramel waffle lattes in the colder months.
Three things that bring me instant joy.
My toddler giggling
Walking around TK Maxx or any kind of home goods shop
An ice cold, crispy Coke or Dr Pepper
Favourite film or TV show?
One thing you need to know about me is my special interest in Titanic. The movie, the actual ship, the tragic story. It’s been a lifelong fascination and I will talk for as long as you’ll let me about how much I love it.
I also love The Parent Trap (1998) and I think watching that film on loop as a kid inspired my interest in filmmaking, storytelling and visual aesthetics.
TV show wise, I love Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The White Lotus and my guilty pleasure is the US version of The Office.
Favourite place I’ve ever travelled to?
I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places so far in my life, including getting engaged in Reykjavik and honeymooning in New York. I was fortunate enough to live near Christchurch, New Zealand for 6 months as a child, and the adventures and memories I made while there have stuck with me forever.
Dream photoshoot location?
Cannon Beach, Oregon.
